Beverley Stone grew up in outport Newfoundland before moving to Toronto to attend Osgoode Hall Law School. She continues to live in Toronto, but Random Island, Newfoundland will always be home. She is a proud alumnus of the Wired Writing Studio at the Banff Centre, Alberta. No Beautiful Shore is her first novel.
