David Homel, Jack Hannan among finalists for 2011 QWF Awards

Cormorant authors David Homel and Jack Hannan are both nominated for this year’s round of Quebec Writers’ Federation literary awards.

David Homel is up for the Paragraphe Hugh McLennan Prize for Fiction for his novel Midway.

 

Jack Hannan’s first book of poetry, Some Frames, is nominated for the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry.

 

The prizes are each worth $2,000., and the winners will be named Nov. 22 at the QWF’s Literary Awards Gala at the Lion d’Or.
