What Keeps You Up at Night?

They happen to all of us: those nights when our heads are swimming with thoughts, and the minutes and hours slip by. Now you can put those thoughts on paper and win exciting prizes by answering one simple question:

What keeps you up at night?

In Deborah Kerbel’s Governor General’s Literary Award–nominated novel, Under the Moon, a fifteen-year-old with a lot on her mind goes twenty-six days without sleeping. Readers across the country have learned what keeps her up at night. Now we want to hear about what keeps you awake.

Write about whatever you want. We’re open to anything, as long as you say it in five hundred words or less. Inspire us, entertain us, enlighten us … just give us your best.  Entries can be fiction, non-fiction, or poetry and there is  there is NO entry fee or obligation to participate.

Deadline is December 14, 2012

If you think YOU or your school might want to participate, have your school Librarian contact us at underthemoon@dancingcatbooks.com for the OFFICIAL RULES and entry form!
