Synopsis

Unbound from stiff-upper-lip stagnation by sudden widowhood, Adelaide Simcoe has yielded to her creative impulses — and the pull of the volatile avant-garde fugu gallery. But when a performance art piece goes horribly wrong at the opening of Adelaide's first group show, she sets out to find who hated the gallery's mercurial co-founder enough to engineer such a horrible death.
