Mary Soderstrom
River Music is Mary Soderstrom's fourteenth book. The author of five other novels, four works of non-fiction, three short story collections, and one children's book, her work has been shortlisted for the Quebec Writers' Federation Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction, the Books in Canada First Novel Award, and most recently, Pop Montreal and Matrix Magazine's 2012 LITPOP award. She lives in Montreal and listens to a lot of music
